Halo Administrator
Reporting to:
ITSM Platform Lead
Responsible for:
Administrating the day to day configuration and management of Halo platform.
They also support platform upgrades, integrations, and automation efforts, working closely with Halo Developers and key stakeholders to drive business efficiencies and innovation.
Based at:
Remote (UK Only) – Infrequent travel to London if / when required (up to 1 day per month)
Scope:
Halo instance used for Customers and Bell Internally, plus support of customer instances and integrations between them and other platforms such as Zabbix, Torq, and Entra
Purpose
Working within a team for Halo for Bell and to support our external customers. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day activities surrounding Halo support, ensuring Bell operates in accordance with best practice and makes full use of the Halo system and accompanying processes and reporting.

Role
- Serve as a technical advisor for Halo initiatives and roadmap planning for customer and internal use.
- Run Halo related incidents and service requests.
- Liaise with requestors, IT and operational units to ensure requirement alignment.
- Work on Catalogues and Portals to create and maintain items.
- Design and build reports and dashboards to track platform performance and business KPIs.
- Design, develop, and optimise Halo workflows.
- Support enterprise-wide process automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Adhere to best practices, governance policies, and compliance with ITIL and corporate standards.
- Ensure access control, security policies, and platform permissions are correctly configured.
- Ensure Change Management policies are followed for system modifications and enhancements.
Person
Essential:
- Strong experience with Halo ITSM configurations, Ideally in a multi organisations configuration.
- Experience working with Halo release cycles, upgrades, and API integrations.
- Database & query expertise for Halo reporting (SQL Server, T-SQL).
- Stakeholder management - ability to communicate with the business. Understand business requirements and translate them into native Halo solutions.
- Workflow & Automation framework - Designing standard actions, release workflows, event-driven notifications, and SLA triggers using Halo's native workflow engine.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks.

Desirable:
- Experience migrating from legacy ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) to HaloITSM.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or higher (Preferred but not mandatory)
