Join Our Team as a Hand Line Pasty Crimper!
Hours: 06:00–16:00, 4 days out of 5 (Monday to Friday, with one rotational day off per week)
Breaks: 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks per shift
Pay: £13.55/hour standard | Enhanced rate £16.94/hour for hours between 20:00–06:00 or over 37.5 hours/week
What You’ll Do
As a Hand Line Pasty Crimper, you’ll play a key role in crafting our hand-crimped Cornish pasties. Full training is provided, and new crimpers may also be trained in other production areas to support your personal development and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crimp like a pro: Produce up to 4 pasties per minute (depending on size)
- Craft with care: Remove pre-filled pastry bases, fold and distribute filling, hand-crimp edges with 18–22 precise folds
- Ensure quality: Monitor product build-up and maintain high standards across the line
- Work your way: Sit or stand, chat with teammates, enjoy the radio, or focus quietly — your choice
- Support your team: Dedicated team leader available for guidance
- Keep it neat: Short, clean nails are required

We provide comprehensive training to turn you into a confident pasty crimper. During your probation, you’ll also earn:
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate
- Health & Safety Level 2 certificate
