Handover Manager

We're looking for a Handover Manager to join our Thames Water team based in Isleworth & Surrey.

Location: Mogden, Isleworth & Hogsmill/Wisley, Surrey

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

We're looking for a Handover Manager to work alongside our Project teams across a portfolio of projects. You'll provide valuable support and guidance to project teams, taking the lead on handover activities and interpreting client close out procedures. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by ensuring effective delivery of takeover, achieving customer satisfaction and commercial success. You'll be key in developing relationships with the client Asset Integration team and will take ownership of Thames Water stage gate delivery, working closely with our supply chain, planning manager, site operational teams and information management functions.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Managing accountability of internal and external stakeholders in relation to takeover programme obligations
  • Working with Design, Quality and Document Controllers to ensure final documentation meets required standards
  • Developing and implementing handover strategies and procedures, including methodology for early interventions to efficiently achieve Takeover
  • Leading on efficient closure of actions generated from snags and defects
  • Supporting the mobilisation of Kier Thames Water Sewage Treatment works including Hogsmill and Wisley, with a predominant focus on Mogden Sewerage Treatment works

What are we looking for?

This role of Handover Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a Full driving licence or will have obtained one before your start date
  • You're a confident and excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • You have extensive experience working with Thames Water as a Tier 1 Contractor with a detailed understanding of their capital delivery project life cycle
  • You have proven people and project management skills with competent judgement and problem-solving abilities
  • You have experience of Take Over procedures for multi-disciplinary Capital Delivery projects and knowledge of digital delivery tools such as TWEXnet, BC Assure, Viewpoint or Project Wise
