Role Description
The Handy Person role at Ron Services Group is a contract, on-site position based in Glasgow. Day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks, such as basic plumbing, minor electrical work, painting, joinery, and routine building checks. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, identifying issues, and completing basic repairs in a timely and safe manner.

This is a static site based role in Springburn, Glasgow.

Qualifications
- Practical experience in general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, painting, and small joinery tasks.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, with strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving common maintenance issues.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, including safe work procedures, risk awareness, and adherence to relevant regulations on-site.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and complete work to agreed standards and deadlines.
- Previous experience in facilities management, property maintenance, or a similar handy person role is preferred.
- Relevant trade certifications or vocational qualifications (e.g., basic electrical, plumbing, or construction-related courses) are an advantage.
- Reliable transport to site in Glasgow.
- Must have full driving license.
