Hotel Handyman – 6-Month Contract (Part-Time)
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Handyman to manage a dynamic mix of planned and reactive maintenance at our hotel property in Somerset. If you are looking for a consistent, part-time contract role where you can work independently, we want to hear from you.
Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays only, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (16 hours per week)
Duration: 6-Month Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour (PAYE) or £20.00 per hour (Limited)

- General Repairs: Handyman will perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry fixes.
- Property Upkeep: Carry out painting, decorating, and general hands-on maintenance of damaged facilities and equipment.
- Compliance & Safety: Manage preventative maintenance and support routine fire safety checks.
- Project Support: Assist the Maintenance Manager with ongoing hotel renovations and specific projects.
Job Location
The closest station is Bath Spa Train Station BA1 1SS
Travel Note: The hotel is located a 1 hour bus ride (Route 100) from the station. Please ensure this commute is manageable for you before applying.

Requirements
Job Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a handyman, or a similar handyman or property maintenance role.
- Willing to work part-time - committed to work consistently over the 6 month period.
- Eligibility: You must be fully eligible to work in the UK.
- Work Ethic: The ability to work independently and efficiently.
