Are you an experienced Facilities Management professional with a strong background in Hard FM, engineering services, and client relationship management?
We are seeking a commercially minded and operationally focused Hard FM Account Manager to lead the delivery of technical facilities services across a prestigious and complex operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced account or contract manager looking to take ownership of a high-profile account while driving service excellence, financial performance, and team development.
The Role
As Hard FM Account Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and profitable delivery of Hard FM services. Acting as the primary operational contact for the client, you will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, oversee financial performance, and ensure all contractual obligations and KPIs are achieved.
You will also support minor works, lifecycle activities, and project delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to live operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management and performance of the Hard FM contract.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage, coach, and develop operational teams.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Monitor compliance, statutory obligations, PPM performance, and work order management.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, commercial performance, and cost control.
- Manage supplier and subcontractor performance.
- Produce operational, financial, and KPI reports.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement, efficiency gains, and account growth.
- Support the delivery of minor works and project activities.
- Ensure effective use of CAFM/CMMS systems and asset management processes.
About You

- Proven experience managing Hard FM, engineering, or technical services operations.
- Strong account or contract management experience.
- Demonstrable leadership and people management capability.
- Sound commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and P&L performance.
- Strong understanding of building services, compliance requirements, and operational risk.
- Experience managing subcontractors and external suppliers.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
- Facilities management experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated environments.
- Exposure to minor works, refurbishment, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems and asset lifecycle management.
- IOSH, NEBOSH, Engineering, FM, or other relevant technical qualifications.
