Hard Landscaper Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Hard Landscaper to join a landscape construction company delivering high-quality domestic and commercial landscaping projects, including hard landscaping, bespoke gardens, earthworks, and environmental works.

About the Role

As a Hard Landscaper, you will be carrying out high-quality hard landscaping work on projects, either independently or as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing hard landscaping works to the required standard and specification.
  • Setting out work accurately from drawings and specifications.
  • Reading technical drawings and setting levels correctly.
  • Carrying out paving, brickwork, footings, and small retaining wall work.
  • Using landscaping machinery and plant, including excavators.
  • Working effectively with team leaders, project managers, and other trades on site.
  • Raising any site issues or concerns promptly.
  • Following company procedures and maintaining appropriate health and safety standards.
  • Completing weekly timesheets accurately.

Location

You will be based in Essex, Suffolk, or nearby areas.

Requirements

  • Previously worked as a Hard Landscaper, Landscaper, Landscape Labourer, Landscape Gardener, Landscape Operative, Landscaping Operative, Labourer, or in a similar role.
  • Approx. 2-3 years of landscaping experience.
  • Good hands-on experience in hard landscaping, including paving, brickwork, foundations, and small retaining walls.
  • Experience operating plant and machinery.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and set levels accurately.
  • A good eye for detail and pride in producing quality finishes.
  • Good awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • A full UK driving licence.

  • Competitive salary of GBP 15.50 per hour plus travel time and benefits.
