Hard Rock Hotel Malta is seeking an experienced and highly driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team.
This is a key operational leadership role requiring a strong background in luxury and five-star hotel environments. The successful candidate will be a hands-on F&B professional with a proven ability to lead large teams, maintain exceptional service standards, and drive both guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
Your Mission
As Food & Beverage Manager, you will support the leadership and day-to-day management of the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations, ensuring that all outlets consistently deliver exceptional service in line with Hard Rock brand standards and the expectations of a luxury hotel. You will be highly visible within the operation, leading from the floor, developing the team, and working closely with Culinary and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel’s F&B outlets.
- Ensure consistently high standards of service, presentation, and guest experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop F&B managers, supervisors, and team members.
- Maintain a strong and visible presence on the floor, particularly during peak service periods.
- Monitor guest feedback and take appropriate action to continuously improve service delivery.
- Support the achievement of departmental revenue, profitability, and cost-control targets.
- Monitor labor costs, productivity, staffing levels, and scheduling in line with business requirements.
- Work closely with the Culinary team to ensure effective coordination between front and back of house.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety, and company standards.
- Ensure departmental SOPs and Hard Rock brand standards are consistently implemented and maintained.
- Support F&B promotions, events, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the guest experience and increasing revenue.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
- Foster a positive working environment built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous development.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and effectively, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.

Requirements
- Proven Food & Beverage management experience within a luxury or five-star hotel environment is essential.
- Strong operational experience managing multiple F&B outlets.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing large, diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations.
- Commercial awareness with a solid understanding of revenue, budgets, labor costs, cost control, and profitability.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on operational approach with the ability to lead effectively from the floor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent command of English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Flexibility to work according to operational requirements, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
