Spa Manager
At Hard Rock Hotel Malta, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Spa Manager to lead our spa operation and deliver an exceptional luxury wellness experience.
This is a senior operational role for a strong spa professional with proven experience managing a large-scale, high-end spa operation, ideally within a five-star hotel, luxury resort or internationally recognised wellness environment.
We are looking for someone who understands that an outstanding spa is not only about exceptional treatments – it is about the entire guest journey, operational excellence, team performance, and strong commercial results.
🎯 Your Mission
As Spa Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of the spa. You will lead and develop the team, maintain exceptional luxury service standards, and drive the commercial performance of treatments, retail, and wellness experiences. You will ensure that every detail of the spa operation reflects the standards expected from a premium international hospitality brand.
📌 What You’ll Do
- Lead the overall operation of the spa, ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation and guest experience
- Manage, motivate and develop a sizeable team of therapists, reception and spa professionals
- Establish and maintain five-star luxury service standards throughout the guest journey
- Oversee treatment capacity, reservations, scheduling and workforce planning to maximise productivity and revenue
- Drive spa revenue through treatments, retail sales, memberships, packages and other commercial opportunities
- Manage budgets, payroll costs, departmental expenses and financial performance
- Monitor KPIs, revenue performance, guest satisfaction and team productivity, taking action where required
- Manage stock, inventory, professional products, retail products and operational supplies
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, health, safety and operational compliance
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally and effectively
- Develop attractive treatment menus, wellness programmes, packages and promotions in line with market trends and guest demand
- Build a strong training and development culture within the spa team
- Work closely with Hotel Operations, Sales & Marketing and other departments to maximise the spa’s visibility and commercial potential

💡 What We’re Looking For
- Proven management experience within a large luxury spa operation
- Previous experience in a five-star hotel, luxury resort or premium international spa environment is strongly preferred
- Strong operational knowledge of spa, beauty, wellness and treatment environments
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a substantial spa team
- Strong commercial awareness with hands-on experience managing budgets, revenue targets, payroll, costs and KPIs
- A proven ability to drive treatment and retail sales while maintaining an exceptional guest experience
- Excellent understanding of luxury service standards and high-end guest expectations
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Highly organised, hands-on and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
- Confident in analysing performance and making commercially sound decisions
- Fluent spoken and written English
