We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Product Technologist to join our Hardlines team to drive our product range forward technically and sustainably. The role will have oversight of technical admin across hardlines.
We’d love to hear from candidates with product technology experience, particularly those who have worked on hardgoods products such as camping, outdoor active equipment, rucksacks, sleeping bags, umbrella and other related product.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing your categories testing and AQL programme in line with the critical path.
- Working with suppliers to collate compliance documents required for import.
- Recording product comments in review meetings and following through with suppliers.
- Managing soft hardline quality sign offs.
- Risk assessing product and delivering product development resolutions.
- Driving innovation in product, performance, and sustainability through benchmarking and technical advances.
- Integral part of the buying team, working with the Product Technologist to advise on technical and sustainable suitability of fabric, construction and fit.
- Monitoring returns data to spot patterns and delivering corrective actions plans.
- Building supplier relationships to influence quality and fit.

We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is
- At least 1 years in an assistant technologist role.
- Hardlines experience an advantage.
- Experienced at testing review.
- Good data management reporting skills.
- Experience of working with offshore suppliers.
- Good influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Team player capable of working under pressure to deadlines.
- Organised, methodical with great attention to detail.
