Hardware Engineer (Acoustic Research)

An exciting opportunity has become available with a leading global technology organisation developing next-generation wearable devices and immersive consumer technologies.

We're looking for an experienced Acoustic Research Engineer to support advanced research in acoustics, audio signal processing, and laboratory-based testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute acoustic experiments
  • Develop data acquisition and processing tools using Python and MATLAB
  • Conduct acoustic measurements using prototype hardware
  • Analyse audio data and generate technical reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams

Required Skills

  • Master's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years in acoustic research or audio technology
  • Strong understanding of acoustics and audio signal processing
  • Experience with laboratory-based acoustic testing
  • Python and/or MATLAB programming
