We’re working with an innovative technology company developing ruggedised electronic and hardware solutions designed to operate in demanding environments.
They’re looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to help build and operate their in-house testing capability — developing robust validation processes and ensuring products are ready to perform when it matters most.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and operating custom testbeds for hardware products
- Conducting vibration, thermal, fatigue, and environmental testing
- Operating environmental chambers, vibration tables, and DAQ systems
- Testing products against standards including MIL-STD-810H, IP, and IK ratings
- Analysing test results and providing recommendations that directly influence product design and development
- Helping develop and scale validation processes from early prototypes through to production

🛠️ Experience we're looking for:
- Hands-on engineering experience within an R&D, laboratory, or workshop environment
- Experience designing and operating hardware test and validation systems
- Proven ability to develop and scale testing and validation processes
- Strong understanding of environmental, structural, and reliability testing principles
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, particularly MIL-STD-810H and IP ratings
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
