What you’ll be doing:
- Process customer enquiries and bookings for hazardous waste disposal, handling both internal and external customer queries with efficiency and accuracy
- Manage the complete customer journey from initial query through to collection scheduling, ensuring all work is completed within agreed team targets
- Handle customer calls swiftly and professionally, providing accurate information including quotations while maintaining full compliance with Health and Safety policies
- Book transport, input waste details into the Salesforce system, order labels, and liaise with the external sales team to keep customers informed
- Complete all necessary legislative paperwork and ensure correct data entry to enable efficient servicing of customers while maintaining compliance with Veolia policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Previous customer service experience with proven ability to handle multiple enquiries efficiently
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with data entry systems
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet team targets
- Desirable: Previous experience in the waste industry or knowledge of Salesforce systems
- A proactive team player with drive and energy who is committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of compliance
