About this Role
- Consulting/Professional Services Experience – 2.5 to 5 years
- Minimum Workday Ecosystem Experience – 2 years
Routinely staffed as the Senior Consultant on projects OR occasionally called upon to perform Senior Consultant responsibilities for more complex workstreams (e.g. Payroll, Financial Accounting).
- Leader of a workstream/integration. Inclusive of tenant builds, forecasting, and methodology components.
- Expert in Methodology and enforces it on projects.
- Understands downstream impacts on other workstreams (functional areas, integrations, reports, change management, testing, and/or data conversion).
- Directs/Supervises the activities of other Consultants associated with their project workstream(s) under the guidance of an architect.
- Shows initiative in the growth of Cs on the project and works with them to identify opportunities for growth.
- Knows the balance of what to do vs teaching vs allowing for independence for their Cs.
- Demonstrates core Workday skills as well as project/industry experience that enable them to facilitate client requirement meetings.
- Ability to facilitate client requirement meetings without any additional guidance.
- Demonstrates situational awareness.
- Can creatively solve a Business Requirement utilizing the various tools for their given workstream/integration.
- Deep knowledge of their workstream and can estimate effort/scope for that workstream.
- Actively assists their direct supervisors and other leadership without needing to be asked
- Owns or manages a team to deliver internal work that helps make forward progress for the organization.
- Ability to diffuse employee concerns and handle diverse people management issues without dismissing them.
- Contributes visibly to internal things - depending on utilization this may be delivering internal initiatives but at a minimum, it is helping others and actively participating in team calls. Not about working extra hours, but more about how the hours worked are spent. If not fully utilized, should be contributing to internal progress.
