Head Bartender – Café Boulud
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new five-star luxury hotel located at the end of The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace.
About the Role
You will be part of the founding team shaping an unparalleled guest experience within a historic and prestigious landmark. The hotel will features 100 elegant rooms and suites, private residences spanning 17,500 sqft, two signature restaurants—
- Coreus by Clare Smyth (world-renowned Michelin-starred chef)
- Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud (Michelin star chef and globally celebrated culinary leader)
Adding to the guest experience will be:
- A world-class spa
- State-of-the-art fitness facilities
- Grand event spaces, including a ballroom for 320 guests
As Head Bartender for Café Boulud, you will bring strategic leadership, creativity, and excellence to the Beverage team, ensuring seamless service delivery to换句话说, guests. Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Inspire, train, and grow a high-performing Beverage team, setting the standard for guest care and consistency.
- Service Excellence: Collaborate with restaurant leadership to ensure flawless beverage service aligned with five-star levels.
- Standard Setting: Develop and enforce SOP and operational excellence—including bar processes, cocktail menus, and mixology standards— reflective of Café Boulud’s global reputation.
- Guest Experience: Deliver personalised, consistent, and exceptional beverage service that aligns with Hilton’s global standards of hospitality.
- Resource Management: Oversee bar inventory, budget adherence, and cost control without compromising quality.
- Events Coordination: Support the sourcing of premium wine, spirits and premium altitudes for hotel events and functions.
- olitik and Cross-Team Communication: Work closely with kitchen, Banquet, and F&B management to ensure seamless execution for guests.

Requirements
- A proven track record as a Head Bartender, ideally within a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of beverage services, including premium spirits, wine, coffee, and mixology (with an understanding of Michelin-grade expectations).
- Strong experience managing a large team, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and creativity.
- Demonstrated skills in operations management and high-volume hospitality.
- Passion for luxury service and an appreciation for globally celebrated brands like Daniel Boulud.
