About The Role
The Head Chef will lead a brigade of six in a 2 AA Rosette restaurant in North Yorkshire, taking full ownership of the kitchen. This permanent position offers a salary of £42,000, supplemented by bonus and tips. The venue closes on Monday and Tuesday, and free on-site parking is provided, with no split shifts. You will oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, ensuring every plate meets exacting standards. Maintaining and evolving the establishment’s culinary identity is central to this role. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Head Chef to join a 2 AA Rosette restaurant in North Yorkshire, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their culinary career. As Head Chef you will lead a team of 6 chefs across breakfast, lunch and dinner service, producing exceptional food consistently to the high standards expected of a 2 AA Rosette operation. The Head Chef will play a key role in maintaining and developing the culinary identity of the business as it continues to grow.
As Head Chef you will take full ownership of the kitchen operation, including food costing, stock control and team training. The ideal Head Chef will have a strong culinary background, with rosette experience, and the drive and ambition to help take the business to the next level. The Head Chef will also be involved in the development of weddings, corporate events and private dining as the business continues to expand its offering. We would also welcome applications from an experienced Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step up into a Head Chef position.
