Head Chef for Community Meal Service
Do you want to support a small team of students preparing and packaging 100 – 150 meals a day as part of our community meal service? We need an experienced Head Chef to deliver a community meal service to Lambeth residents who are adversely affected by the cost of living crisis and other socio-economic impacts. You will provide students with the opportunity to build employment skills, confidence, and practical skills.

We provide a range of programmes empowering adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, and adults with other support needs to live happier, healthier, and more independent lives. Main Responsibilities
- Plan for and teach catering and hospitality skills to adults with a learning disability and autistic adults
- Provide 100-150 meals for community members in need, 3-5 days a week
- Enable students to achieve relevant qualifications and support students to build portfolios of experience and achievements
Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced chef who loves food, is passionate about making a difference, and gets a buzz out of developing people’s catering and hospitality skills
- Experience in the catering and hospitality industry, leading a team to source, prepare, and cook meals for around 100-150 people
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate positively and in a non-discriminatory way to disabled people from a range of backgrounds and communities
- Passionate about helping disabled people enjoy more autonomy and understands how to make this happen
