Equans Head Chef Opportunity

Equans is looking for a Head Chef to join our team at MARSHAM STREET 2 MARSHAM STREET LONDON SW1P 4DF on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is an annual salary of £49,000.00 and a benefits package.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday - Friday 0700hrs - 1530hrs

What will you deliver?

As the Head Chef, you will lead the Catering Management team to deliver excellent and cost-effective food services. You will manage both high-volume fresh food production and event catering, ensuring quality, efficiency, and strong financial control.

You will be responsible for maintaining high food standards that follow current trends and comply with all food safety laws. Leading and training your kitchen team, you will ensure all food safety policies are followed every day to keep the kitchen safe and clean.

Who are we looking for?

  • Food Safety: Level 3 or Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering
  • Culinary Diplomas: NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Professional Cookery, City & Guilds certificates, or a foundation degree in culinary arts.
  • Experience managing fast-paced food operations with attention to dietary requirements and allergens.
  • Good stock management and cost control skills.
  • Leadership skills to train and motivate a kitchen team.
