The Role
As Head Chef at Longridge House, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of all food services. You will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring consistently exceptional food across the restaurant, weddings, and events.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled kitchen team.
- Establish kitchen procedures, food safety standards, and supplier relationships.
- Work alongside senior leadership to position Longridge House as a standout culinary destination.

Post-Opening:
- Lead the kitchen team in delivering outstanding food across the restaurant, weddings, and private events.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all dishes.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, or events venue.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- A hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
- Experience managing kitchen budgets, stock control, and supplier negotiations.
