Good to know

This is a Head Chef role designed to support a healthy work-life balance without compromising on quality, creativity or career development. You'll primarily work daytime hours, typically 8:00am to 4:00pm, with only occasional variations and a maximum of two later finishes per week (up to 10:00pm). Weekend working is shared fairly across the team, averaging one weekend in three, and you'll receive your rota by the 14th of each month, giving you plenty of time to plan your personal commitments.

You'll work any five days out of seven on an annualised hours contract. This means your working hours are spread across the year to reflect seasonal business demands, with busier periods balanced by quieter periods, while you continue to receive the same monthly salary throughout the year. Unlike many hospitality roles, you'll benefit from no split shifts, providing greater consistency and predictability in your working day.

You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team where people enjoy working together to deliver excellent food and service in a well-organised environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
