Join Our South American Adventure as a Head Chef

At Las Iguanas, our food is the heart of the fiesta. Inspired by the bold flavours, colour and soul of Latin America, our kitchens are fast-paced, energetic places where passion, pace and personality come together and our Head Chefs set the standard.

As a Head Chef at Las Iguanas, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen, leading the team to deliver consistently great food while creating a positive, high-energy culture. You’ll inspire, train and develop your chefs, run smooth and confident services, and make sure standards around quality, safety and cleanliness are always spot on.

You’ll balance creativity with control managing costs, labour and stock effectively, while keeping the flavour bold and the kitchen motivated. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of the restaurant and building a kitchen team that’s proud of what they deliver every day.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Head Chef who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment and loves leading from the front. You’ll be passionate about fresh food, confident developing people, and calm under pressure — someone who brings energy, structure and consistency to the kitchen.

If you’re ready to lead a kitchen that’s full of flavour, personality and passion — and want to build something special with a brand that celebrates individuality and teamwork — Las Iguanas is the place for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
