At Prezzo Italian, we’re looking for a high-energy Head Chef, to lead the kitchen with purpose. You’ll be at the heart of our restaurant, leading your kitchen team and serving the Italian food our guests know and love. Think freshly prepared pasta, pizza, and Italian favourites, delivered consistently and with pride.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead your kitchen team and work closely with your General Manager to make your restaurant a success.
- Deliver consistently great food and maintain excellent kitchen standards.
- Manage stock, waste, and costs to ensure your kitchen performs at its best.
- Create a place where your team enjoys coming to work.
Requirements
- Kitchen Leadership: Experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
- Commercial Know-How: Understanding of stock, waste, labour, and kitchen costs and how to run an efficient operation.
- Great Standards: Care about food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety/HACCP.
- People Skills: Positive, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching people and building a strong kitchen team.
- Pride in Every Plate: Understand that a great guest experience starts in the kitchen.
