Conscious & Creative Dining at Roe
Located in the heart of Wood Wharf, Roe offers conscious and creative dining from the trio behind the acclaimed Fallow restaurant. Named after the native deer of the British Isles, Roe will uphold the same nose-to-tail and root-to-stem philosophy as its sister restaurant, Fallow St James’s.
Menu
The extensive à la carte menu at Roe will be divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers, and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. Roe will champion modest, British ingredients while showcasing underused and underappreciated produce.
Role: Head Chef
As a Head Chef at Roe, you will lead our kitchen, inspiring the team to consistently deliver outstanding dishes. Your expertise in food preparation, team management, and cost control will be crucial in maintaining our high standards while driving innovation and efficiency in the kitchen.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and high-performance environment.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring excellence in every dish.
- Innovate and refine the menu, incorporating sustainability-focused and creative cooking techniques.
- Manage kitchen operations, optimizing efficiency while maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
- Control food and labor costs, conduct regular stock takes, and work within budgetary targets.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring the highest quality ingredients and ethical sourcing.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
