Head Chef Banqueting, Meeting and Events: Luxury Hotel
Edinburgh
A GBP 55,000 + circa A GBP 7,000 service charge
40 hours
We are recruiting for a Chef de Cuisine to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Edinburgh.
This is a senior kitchen leadership role with a strong focus on Meeting and Events, alongside Afternoon Tea, In Room Dining, and the staff restaurant.
The Role
- Lead a team of around 18 chefs
- Oversee Meeting and Events across multiple function spaces
- Deliver events ranging from intimate functions to dinners for 280 and standing events for up to 400
- Oversee a busy Afternoon Tea operation with 100+ covers regularly
- Work alongside the Executive Chef on menus and culinary development
- Manage kitchen standards, food costs, ordering, and team development
- Work across a complex hotel operation with multiple satellite kitchens

About You
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or strong Senior Sous Chef who is ready for their next step.
You Will Need
- Luxury hotel or high-end hospitality experience
- Strong Meeting and Events or banqueting experience
- Experience leading a sizeable brigade
- Excellent food and menu development skills
- Strong commercial and organizational ability
- A genuine passion for developing and leading a team
