Company Description
Genuine Dining is looking for a Head Chef to lead one of our flagship London sites.
We're an independent, award-winning business that takes food seriously. We buy great ingredients, back our chefs and give them the freedom to cook. No endless sign-offs, no rolling out the same menu across every site.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety. The food offer includes daily-changing street food counters, hospitality, events and plenty of opportunities to try new ideas.
The guests are engaged, they care about food and they're not shy about telling you what they love. It's a site where chefs can have some fun and really make an impact.
Job Description
The Role
You'll run the kitchen day to day, leading a strong team and making sure every service is something to be proud of.
Lunch is busy and varied, with different food concepts running throughout the week. Alongside that, there's a hospitality offer ranging from informal meetings to launches and larger events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll have plenty of support around you, but this is your kitchen and we want someone who'll make it their own.
