Job Title: Head Chef
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Paid Overtime
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday to Friday, Predominantly daytime
I'm recruiting a Head Chef for a prestigious financial institution in Central London, leading a large workplace dining and hospitality operation.
Salary and Benefits
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

- Size: Around 1,600 people based on-site
- Retail: Serving up to 800 covers
- Meals: Breakfast and lunch
- Food Counters: Multiple
- Deli and Salad Offer: Large
- Hospitality: From working lunches to fine dining
- Culinary Team: Established team of around 10

The Role
- Leadership: Lead both retail and hospitality
- Team Management: Manage and develop the kitchen team
- Quality and Presentation: Drive food quality and presentation
- Menu Development: Take ownership of menu development
- Workplace Dining: Create fresh, modern workplace dining
- Fine Dining: Deliver refined fine-dining hospitality
- Cost Management: Manage food costs, labour, and kitchen standards
- Support: Support evening hospitality when required
About You
- Experience: Experienced Head Chef or strong senior kitchen leader
- Background: Premium B&I, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality background
- Skills: Strong across both high-volume retail and fine dining
- Menu Development: Excellent menu development skills
- Passion: Creative and genuinely passionate about food
- Commercial Awareness: Commercially aware and highly organized
- Team Development: Confident in developing an established team
