47.5 hours, 5 days out of 7, Approx. 80% Monday-Friday

About the Role

Love the scale and buzz of high-volume catering, but still want to cook fresh, interesting food and have a life outside the kitchen?

I'm recruiting a Production Head Chef for a major London destination, leading a busy production kitchen supporting multiple food outlets, hospitality and events.

This is a sizeable operation with A GBP 5m+ annual food sales, so we're looking for someone who genuinely understands production at scale: strong on food, people, organisation and the numbers behind a successful kitchen.

  • Large central production kitchen
  • Multiple cafés, retail and dining outlets

The Role

  • Take ownership of the production kitchen
  • Lead and develop the senior chefs and wider brigade
  • Plan high-volume production across multiple outlets
  • Drive food quality and consistency at scale
  • Manage stock, food costs, labour and waste
  • Maintain excellent food safety and compliance
  • Support hospitality and events when required

About You

  • Experienced Head Chef with high-volume production experience
  • Events, CPU, large hotel, banqueting or contract catering background
  • Strong experience managing and developing kitchen teams
  • Commercially confident with costs, stock and waste
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing serious volume
  • Hands-on, calm and consistent
