Head Chef
We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Head Chef to build on Bath Brew House’s successful reopening and help make us a destination for brilliant food as well as great beer.
With our refreshed pub, buzzing garden and on-site brewery already in full swing, this is an opportunity to make your mark on an established operation. You’ll lead the kitchen team, deliver food people come back for, and bring fresh ideas to an offer that suits our lively Brew House personality.
Here we celebrate passion, dedication and, of course, beer.
About Bath Brew House
Bath Brew House is a proper pub with personality. We brew our own beer on site, serve it fresh from the tanks, and pair it with hearty, crowd-pleasing food. Think locals, craft beer lovers, big weekends, a buzzing garden and proper Sunday roasts.
We want our food to be every bit as memorable as our beer, from banging burgers and comforting pub classics to generous Sunday lunches.
The Food
This is pub food with confidence and comfort at its core.
Think:
- Big, flavour-packed burgers
- Proper pub classics with a Brew House twist
- Picky plates and sharers for mates and matchdays
- Food that works perfectly with a pint in hand
- Proper Sunday roasts all year round, from classic plates to generous feasting boards

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
