Head Chef | Garvagh | £34,000 + great benefits | Full-time, 42.5 hours per week

Zachary Daniels is recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a busy, high-volume food operation.

The Role

You'll lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing high-quality fresh food while maintaining excellent standards across food safety, quality and service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh food to a consistently high standard
  • Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
  • Allocate tasks and manage the kitchen operation
  • Manage stock, costs and waste
  • Ensure food safety, health & safety and trading standards are met
  • Support sales, profitability and commercial targets
  • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen
  • Relevant Catering and Food Safety qualifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working to targets, budgets or KPIs
  • A passion for fresh, quality food
  • The ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards
