The Role

We are delighted to partner with a highly respected, multi-site restaurant group to appoint a Head Chef for one of their established London sites. This is a pivotal role offering stability, creative freedom, and a clear path for progression within a people-focused business renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional fresh food. The successful candidate will be the culinary leader, with responsibility for hands-on kitchen leadership, team development, and full operational management.

The Head Chef Role

  • Lead the kitchen at an established, high-volume London site.
  • Hands-on kitchen leadership across all sections.
  • Team development: a genuine passion for developing teams and promoting from within.
  • Full operational management, including stock, cost control, and kitchen systems.
  • Menu collaboration: creative freedom to shape menus.
  • Work closely with the wider group on operational delivery.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.

The Ideal Head Chef

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in high-quality, fresh food environments.
  • A background in recognised, quality-driven restaurants is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced European cuisine.
  • Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for developing teams and promoting from within.
  • Commercially savvy, with excellent stock, cost control, and kitchen systems management.
  • A collaborative, energetic team player with no ego.
  • Committed to a sustainable chef lifestyle.
