Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

Hours: 40 per week

A major energy infrastructure development in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, designed to connect new renewable power generation to the GB transmission network. Catering for up to 250 people daily. We offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and snacks. There will be some hospitality offering at this location. This location operates Monday to Friday.

As this is a brand-new greenfield site, the contract will initially be delivered from a mobile catering unit before moving into a fantastic newly built facility. We are looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Aberdeenshire.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch, and hospitality.
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the company's brand standards.
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great team player.

Knowledge / Competencies

  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience of customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
