Head Chef Role

This prestigious 5* Hotel, celebrated for its refined elegance and commitment to excellence, is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the culinary team for its Private Dining & Events.

Nestled in the heart of Central London, This Hotel offers a dining experience that marries the rich heritage of historical British cuisine with the finesse of traditional French cooking techniques. Each dish tells a story, reinventing classics with modern sophistication to delight our discerning guests.

Head Chef Responsibilities

  • Curate and develop an exceptional menu inspired by historical British classics and traditional French methods.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the restaurant management team to enhance the guest dining experience.

Head Chef Requirements

  • A seasoned culinary professional with proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
  • Deep knowledge of British culinary traditions and French techniques, paired with a modern approach to plating and innovation.
  • A leader who thrives under pressure, with excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • Passionate about sustainability, local sourcing, and showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
