Imad’s Syrian Kitchen in Kingly Court, Carnaby Street, is looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team! We are an award-winning, busy restaurant in the heart of London’s Soho, offering fair pay, flexible hours, and a great working environment. All applicants must have a valid visa/ be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Staffing: Hire new staff, create schedules, and train employees
- Inventory: Order and track inventory, and conduct weekly audits
- Equipment: Inspect equipment, schedule maintenance, and ensure employees use it correctly
- Food preparation: Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating, and ensure food quality
- Food safety: Ensure food is stored and prepared safely, and that employees follow food safety regulations
- Budgeting: Manage the kitchen budget by tracking expenses and inventory
- Communication: Communicate with restaurant management and customers, and respond to staff inquiries
- Customer service: Ensure customers are satisfied and that food is delivered quickly and in a timely manner
- Menu: Coordinate with the Executive Chef on menu changes and prices
