At The Lock-Up Gym, we're looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and driven Head Coach & Community Manager to become a key part of our team. This is much more than a coaching role—it's an opportunity to help shape the future of our gym, develop an incredible member experience, and grow alongside an ambitious business.
The Role
This is a varied role that combines coaching, leadership, community engagement, and business development.
On-Site Responsibilities
- Deliver 5–6 hours of high-quality group coaching each week.
- Lead and maintain excellent coaching standards by reviewing sessions and supporting coaches with planning and development.
- Assist with the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the gym.
- Plan and deliver one engaging community event each month to strengthen our member experience and grow our community.

- Generate new member enquiries through marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Carry out regular member check-in calls to support progress, accountability, and retention.
- Create and send a weekly or fortnightly member newsletter with updates, wins, and upcoming events.
- Develop and coordinate future challenges, events, and community initiatives that keep members engaged.
