POSITION OVERVIEW
The Head Coach will be the driving force behind the academy’s player and talent development programs, ensuring excellence in coaching standards, fostering a winning mentality, and leading the academy to become a recognized name in cricket development. This role demands strong leadership, innovative thinking, and a passion for cricket.

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Management
- Develop and oversee the Youth Development Pathway, from grassroots (under-8) to high-performance programs.
- Lead the Emerging Player Program (EPP) and Scholarship Batches, ensuring holistic development.
- Create and execute annual coaching plans in collaboration with lead and specialist coaches.
- Plan, organize, and oversee domestic and international coaching tours and camps.
Coaching Excellence
- Deliver high-quality group and one-on-one coaching sessions across various age groups.
- Design innovative coaching programs aligned with the SRT coaching philosophy and modern techniques.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that emphasizes development, teamwork, and winning mentality.
- Provide regular feedback to players and coaches, emphasizing continuous improvement.
Team Management and Development
- Lead a team of full-time and part-time coaches, offering guidance and opportunities for professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative environment among coaches, support staff, and players.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for coaches and players.
- Drive CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for coaches, ensuring skill enhancement.
Strategic Contributions
- Contribute to sponsorships, commercial opportunities, and strategic academy planning.
- Collaborate with the Global Head Coach, team captains, and support staff to align development and performance goals.
- Ensure program communication and promotional materials remain engaging and up to date.
Event and Grassroots Development
- Organize annual tournaments, including school, academy, and club events.
- Initiate satellite coaching programs in schools and community venues to expand grassroots cricket.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Coaching Qualifications: BCCI/NCA Level 2, ICC Level 2, or ECB Level 3 (minimum).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience coaching players across all age groups, preferably at a renowned cricket academy.
- Specialized expertise in batting, seam bowling, spin bowling, wicketkeeping, or fielding.
- Knowledge of BCCI Domestic Pathways and grassroots cricket programs.
Leadership and Communication
- Proven success in talent identification and player development.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals and teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with players, parents, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of BCCI Domestic Pathways and grassroots cricket programs.
