Description
About the Programme
Bloomsbury Football Foundation is on a mission to transform lives through the magic of football. Bloomsbury’s Women’s Coaching Pathway is built on the belief that every girl and woman in football deserves the chance to see herself reflected in a role model. This programme to build a real route from loving the game to making an impact in the local community at grassroots level.
We impact 7,000 young people a week, with community coaching at the centre of our approach. To us, a coach is a trusted adult, someone their players can rely on, helping them reach their full potential. This pathway has been created to ensure the cohort leaves feeling confident to coach any child, regardless of their ability or background.
Kicking off in early 2027, this one-of-a-kind programme delivers a mix of on-pitch and off-pitch learning, bringing coaches together with a trailblazing group of mentors and coach developers who’ve shaped the game themselves.
Because football, and the young people we coach, need more women leading from the sidelines.
About the role
As Head Coach Developer, you'll own how the programme runs. You'll work alongside our Head of Coaching to shape the curriculum, the six on pitch and off pitch CPD sessions, utilising the support of mentors as part of the cohort.
You'll design and deliver the CPD sessions, run workshops, and lead delivery from Kick Off Day through to final whistle. You'll be on the grass enough to know how everyone's progressing, and honest enough to help them grow through feedback, right through to handover into our hiring process.
This is a consultancy role with real scope to shape how the programme runs in its first year. It's a great fit for an experienced coach developer or coach educator who cares about community and grassroots football and wants to build something from scratch.
This role needs someone who can hold a high bar and a warm room at the same time. The best candidate has developed coaches before, knows the realities of grassroots delivery in London, and is motivated by seeing someone else get better rather than by coaching herself.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
