Justice and Immigration – AASC Team | Quadrant House, Coventry City Centre
Permanent, Full Time:
4 on 4 off shift rota (7am–7pm, including weekends)
Salary:
£29,000 + excellent benefits

About the Role As a Head Cook in our Justice and Immigration – AASC team, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality catering services in a people-centred environment. Your work ensures safe, nutritious, and culturally appropriate meals are provided daily while fostering a positive, respectful workplace aligned with wellbeing and dignity.
From menu planning and budget management to team leadership, your role directly impacts the lives of individuals we support. Join us to create a lasting positive effect on communities through food.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead catering operations, adhering to food safety, health and safety, and operational standards
- Plan menus and manage food ordering while maintaining cost control and budget adherence
- Ensure varied, nutritious meals, including special dietary needs and culturally appropriate options
- Supervise and mentor kitchen teams, upholding high service standards
- Maintain compliance records for HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), food hygiene, and company policies
- Conduct quality checks, address feedback/complaints, and drive continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For
Your expertise will thrive here if you have:
- Level 3 Food Safety + Level 3 HACCP + Level 2 Allergens qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in a large-scale catering role
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Exceptional organisation and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to a diverse, compassionate environment where care is central
Vetting requirement: BPSS clearance (mandatory security checks).
