At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s Enterprise Application Team is seeking a Head Corporate Data & Analytics in Pune.

Own and lead the Corporate Function Enterprise Data Hub within the Databricks Data Mesh, enabling trusted, reusable and governed data products for Corporate Functions. Deliver measurable business value through data products, analytics, machine-learning and AI solutions, while leading the migration of legacy data products into the enterprise data mesh. Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary data team and partner closely with Corporate Functions, GSS and IT Business Partnering to translate priorities into scalable outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, operating model and day-to-day performance of the Corporate Function Enterprise Data Hub, aligned to Enterprise Data Mesh architecture, governance and platform standards.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery and lifecycle management of Corporate Function data products, ensuring they are discoverable, reliable, secure, reusable and fit for business consumption.
  • Lead the delivery of analytics, machine-learning and AI solutions that address priority Corporate Function outcomes, from use-case shaping through adoption and value realisation.
  • Drive the structured migration, rationalisation and retirement of legacy data products into the Databricks Data Mesh, balancing business continuity, risk and technical debt reduction.
  • Build, coach and lead a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, data engineers, ML engineers and AI engineers; establish clear accountabilities, capability development and delivery discipline.
  • Partner with Corporate Function leadership, GSS and IT Business Partnering to prioritise demand, define product value, manage trade-offs and secure adoption of delivered capabilities.
  • Ensure data products and AI/ML solutions comply with enterprise data governance, security, privacy, quality, risk and responsible-AI requirements.
  • Manage the data hub’s capacity, supplier engagement and investment within agreed governance, and communicate delivery performance, risks, dependencies and realised value to senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
