Here at Dentalcare Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Head Dental Nurse/Compliance Officer to join our practice - Dentalcare Pangbourne. We are an NHS/Private practice who pride ourselves in putting our patients first and ensuring that we provide the best care.
About The Role
- Hours: We are looking for an applicant who can work up to 40 hours per week.
- Payment: negotiable, dependent on experience
We are looking for a committed and hardworking Dental Nurse to join our happy team and assist in our growth.
As part of our nursing team, you will provide excellent chair side assistance whilst ensuring the highest levels of patient care and professionalism at all times.
A profound sense of professionalism and dedication is required for this role.

Key responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and support to the nursing and care team.
- Maintain high standards of clinical care and promote best practice.
- Support compliance with CQC regulations, policies and clinical governance requirements.
- Ensure care plans, medication records, audits and clinical documentation are maintained accurately.
- Support staff with guidance, supervision and ongoing development.
- Assist with audits, inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
- Promote safeguarding, infection prevention and health and safety standards.
- Help ensure the service is well organised, safe and responsive to the needs of those in our care.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager and wider management team.

About you
- A qualified and registered nurse with a current NMC registration.
- Experienced in a nursing or senior clinical role.
- Knowledgeable about CQC requirements and compliance.
- Highly organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
- A confident leader and communicator.
- Committed to delivering person-centred, compassionate care.
- Proactive, professional and keen to support continuous improvement.
- Comfortable taking responsibility and working as part of a supportive management team.
