About Us
We’re a new non-profit – a small company but with huge aims. Working with the major charities, banks, telcos and broadcasters we are seeking to create a digital society in the UK which works for everyone.
About the Role
We're looking for someone with exceptional news judgement.
- Find the story.
- Shape it.
- Land it.
- Tell it.
You'll be part of our team, helping us decide how to shape the public debate — and then making it happen.
We don't want someone who writes a media strategy and leaves us to implement it. And we don't simply want someone to run a press office, or just write LinkedIn posts. You might be a brilliant press professional, a social media whizz or an experienced journalist who fancies using those instincts from the other side.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What matters is judgement, ideas, relationships, brilliant writing — and being prepared to roll your sleeves up.
Flexible Working
Between jobs? Fine.
Returning after time away? Fine.
Need to work around children or caring responsibilities? Fine.
Want three really interesting days rather than five? Fine.
Lots of experience but keep being told you're overqualified? Also fine. In fact, some of those things may make you more attractive to us, not less.
Compensation and Terms
We have a fixed employment-cost budget of up to £100k including employment costs. So we’re happy to employ a great person full-time — or buy fewer days from someone with considerably more experience, so long as it does the job we need. Hours can be genuinely flexible. The news agenda occasionally won't be, but otherwise we're interested in what you deliver, not when you sit at your desk.

Contract Terms
There is one other important thing to know. We hope this role will be long term, but we can't promise that today. Right now, we can offer a fixed term contract until the end of March '27. So we are not looking to persuade someone to leave a great, secure permanent job.
