About the role
We're growing our roster of clients and need someone to take full ownership of how our video content actually gets made from raw footage to final, scheduled post. This isn't a purely hands-off management role: you'll edit, lead the team that edits alongside you, and be the person clients trust when it comes to delivery.
About Alayd
Alayd is a social media content agency covering creative strategy, filming, editing and full content delivery for commercial clients combining traditional production with AI-generated content where it's the better tool for the job. We work across a range of industries, from hospitality to product brands, producing short-form content built for Instagram and TikTok.

What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of editors set direction, give feedback, and quality-check every delivery before it reaches a client
- Edit content directly to a high standard, working across multiple client accounts at once
- Act as the main point of contact with clients on delivery, revisions, and turnaround expectations
- Own scheduling and posting of finished content across client social channels
- Set and maintain editing standards and workflow across the team so quality stays consistent as we scale

What we're looking for
Required:
- Strong editing skills across industry-standard software (e.g. Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut)
- Experience managing or leading a team of editors
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience liaising directly with clients on deliverables and feedback
- Experience scheduling and posting content across social platforms
Preferred:
- Experience editing short-form vertical content specifically for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Motion graphics experience (After Effects or similar)
- Exposure to AI-assisted video production tools
