Job Opportunity at King’s College Women’s Football Club
We are currently seeking 3 enthusiastic coaches to lead our teams at King’s College Women’s Football Club starting mid-September.
Team Descriptions
Team 1s
Our 1s are driven, technical, and passionate, with players having years of experience playing for senior development teams. Most recently, they won the Macadam Cup and placed second in their BUCS league. They have been finalists of Les Parisiennes (an international tournament) and previous LUSL Cups. Next year, they strive to maintain a high team spirit whilst topping all competitions, needing a knowledgeable, motivated coach to help them do so.
Team 2s
Our 2s are a competitive and committed squad with a strong team spirit and a positive mindset. This season, they secured 2nd place in their BUCS league, leading them to move up in leagues! They are energetic, enthusiast, and in constant improvement. They find the right balance between fun and competitiveness in the sport and are looking for a coach who will share this mentality and lead them to maintain a winning streak.

Team 3s
Our 3s are made up of both emerging footballers and those with previous experience. Winning Mini-Macadam and playing in two competitive leagues this year is a testament to their growth, motivation and determination. Next year, adjacent to their continuing improvement, they want to keep encouraging those who have never played before to join their team. Thus, they are looking for a coach who will create and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
Expected Duties
- Lead pre-match preparation and in/post-game feedback for Wednesday games (Home games are usually 2PM kick-off at Berrylands, New Malden KT3 5HA. Away games will be in/around London).
- Lead pre-match preparation and in/post-game feedback for Sunday games around London (Home games are usually 2PM kick-off at Berrylands, New Malden KT3 5HA. Away games will be in/around London).
- Provide personalised feedback to players and team post-match/when appropriate.
- Lead productive training sessions that are planned and adapted to recent fixtures. (Trainings are on Thursdays 7:30-9PM at Honor Oak Park, SE23 1NW).

Desired Skills and Qualifications
Team 1s and 2s
- UEFA B qualified (or equivalent. Feel free to apply if you hold a lower qualification).
- Previous experience at university level and/or in women’s football.
- Professionalism.
- Friendly, encouraging and passionate.
- Able to deliver drills and tactics clearly and effectively.
Team 3s
- Minimum FA Level 1 (Introduction to Coaching Football) or equivalent.
- Previous experience at university level and/or in women’s football preferred.
- Professionalism.
- Friendly, resilient, encouraging and passionate.
- Able to deliver drills and tactics clearly and effectively.
Pay
Hourly-rate: £12-£15 (qualification and team-dependent).
