This is a high-end domestic property, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent horticultural knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to work independently, using their own initiative to maintain the gardens to an exceptionally high standard.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Excellent plant knowledge
• A recognised horticultural qualification
• PA1 and PA6 – desirable but not essential
• Previous experience working in a similar Head Gardener or senior horticultural role
• The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation
• A professional, well-presented and well-mannered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible approach and willingness to adapt to the requirements of the estate
