At Hatzfeld Care, we provide residential care for adults with varying needs such as Asperger's, Schizophrenia, eating disorders, age-related illnesses, or Dementia. A person-centred care plan is produced tailored to each individual's specific needs.

With residential care services in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and East Yorkshire, we have a wide range of different career opportunities available, supporting adults with varying levels of need and providing person-centered, responsive care.

Role Overview

As a Head Housekeeper, you will be expected to organize and provide cleaning services within the home in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices.

Must live in the UK to apply. Sponsorship cannot be offered.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of housekeepers
  • Carry out monthly audits
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders
  • Completing supervisions for members of the team
  • Lead housekeeping meetings
  • Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
  • To supervise the cleaning and laundry services within Willis Lodge in accordance with agreed standards
  • Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards
  • Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise
  • Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
  • Ensure the Service Users' rights are protected
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

Communication Skills

  • Good English - Written and verbal
  • To communicate effectively with Service Users and their visitors

Requirements

Desirable but not essential

  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment
  • Previous experience of working as a housekeeper
  • Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support needs

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Shifts: 09:00-17:00 and would include one weekend per month.
  • Salary: £13.91 per hour
