Travelfusion is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Accounting & Reporting to lead our accounting and financial reporting function.
This is a key finance leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for the integrity and quality of Travelfusion's financial accounts, monthly reporting, statutory financial statements and financial compliance across multiple international entities.
The successful candidate will lead the monthly and year-end close processes, coordinate reporting to our shareholder, oversee statutory audits and tax compliance, and ensure that Travelfusion maintains a robust and scalable financial control environment.
Beyond delivering the day-to-day accounting agenda, a major focus of the role will be on strengthening processes, controls and ways of working. We are looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the detail when required, but who can also step back, identify root causes, challenge existing practices and build sustainable solutions.
You will lead and develop a team of five in two locations. The role reports directly to the CFO and will be an important member of the Finance leadership team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
