Head of Accounts
As the Head of Accounts, you'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in supporting the organisation's financial health and compliance within the not-for-profit sector.

Description
- Manage the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
- Supervise the accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
- Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
- Provide financial advice and insights to the leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.
- Lead on financial projects and initiatives to support the organisation's goals.

Profile
A Successful Head Of Accounts Should Have
- A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
