Head of Additional Learning Support & Inclusion

Are you a passionate and experienced leader in SEND, Additional Learning Support and Inclusion, ready to make a lasting difference to learners’ lives?

We are seeking an ambitious Head of Additional Learning Support & Inclusion to lead and develop our high-performing ALS, SEND and High Needs provision. This strategic leadership role will champion an inclusive culture where every learner feels a strong sense of belonging and is supported to achieve their full potential. Reporting to the Vice Principal Progress & Performance, you will lead the implementation of the College’s Inclusion Strategy, oversee High Needs funding, ensure compliance with SEND legislation and statutory requirements, and drive outstanding outcomes for learners through innovative, learner-centred support.

As College SEND Lead, you will manage and inspire a dedicated ALS team, work collaboratively with curriculum and support services, lead quality assurance activities, and represent the College with external partners including Local Authorities and schools. The successful candidate will bring significant leadership experience within SEND, ALS or High Needs provision, a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, excellent people management skills, and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Salary: Up to £51,139 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
