Role Purpose

This is a new role created to ensure the group's admissions function is consistent, data-led, and conversion-focused. The Head of Admissions Performance and Insights supports the Admissions and Marketing Director, to whom they report, by:

  • Ensuring all schools are delivering a consistent admissions process, and best practice, in line with Group standards.
  • Onboarding schools with the Open Apply CRM and its integration to school mis’, including new acquisitions.
  • Generating performance reports and insights.
  • Championing continuous improvement of pipeline conversion and the customer journey through the CRM.

This role is the single point of truth for how enquiries become enrolments across the group.

Core Ownership

  • Develop a culture that embraces continuous improvement of admissions processes, standards, and reporting capability.
  • Lead tracking, funnel stages, and conversions, using insights to benchmark and assist with forecasting.
  • Preparation of group-wide admissions reporting and performance insights.
  • Analysis of admissions and recruitment performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • The provider of actionable insight and recommendations to school leaders and FEL leadership.
  • Data governance, compliance, and appropriate use of admissions data across the group.
  • To lead training and support for school admissions teams on CRM usage, reporting, and best practice.
  • The continued roll-out of Open Apply to existing and new schools to the group in line with Group standard.

Admissions Processes and Best Practice

  • Work with school-based admissions teams to embed consistent Group processes while allowing for local context.
  • Identify admissions process gaps and inefficiencies, and lead their resolution.

CRM and Lead Management Systems

  • Act as the group's admissions CRM owner.
  • Enforce consistent funnel stages, lead statuses, and conversion definitions across all schools.
  • Oversee system configuration, data quality, and integrations with other group systems.
  • Lead training and ongoing support for school admissions teams on CRM usage.

Performance Reporting and Insight

  • Prepare group-wide admissions reporting and dashboards to track performance against KPIs.
  • Analyse enquiry, conversion, and yield data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insight and recommendations for school leaders and central leadership.
  • Present performance updates on a regular basis.

Continuous Improvement of Conversion and Yield

  • Work with the HQ admissions team to support schools to improve conversion at every stage of the funnel, from first enquiry to enrolment.
  • Identify underperformance and work with the Director of Marketing and Admissions and school teams to design and implement improvement plans.
  • Share best practice and learning across the group to raise performance consistently.
  • Monitor the impact of interventions and iterate based on results.

Data Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure admissions data is collected, stored, and used in line with data protection requirements and group policy.
  • Establish clear ownership and accountability for data quality across schools.
  • Act as the group's point of reference on appropriate use of admissions data.

Person Specification

Experience

  • Proven experience in admissions, enrolment, or sales/marketing performance management, within education, ideally multi-site.
  • Familiarity with Open Apply’s CRM (or similar).
  • Track record of usage and driving adoption of a CRM or lead management system.
  • Experience designing and embedding standard operating processes across multiple sites or teams.
  • Strong background in performance reporting, data analysis, and translating data into action.

Skills and attributes

  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it simply.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility to influence school leaders and central leadership.
  • Confident trainer and communicator, able to build capability across teams with varying levels of CRM experience.
  • Structured, process-driven, and comfortable defining standards and holding others to them.
  • Commercially minded, with a clear focus on conversion, yield, and outcomes.
  • High attention to data governance, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract (temp to perm opportunity), commencing asap. The Group have a UK and European presence and therefore welcomes candidates based in UK, Spain, Portugal or Greece. The role will involve occasional international travel.
