About the role
This is your chance to take our analytics from "what happened" to "what should we do next". As Head of Advancement Data Intelligence and Analytics, you'll lead the move from descriptive reporting to proactive, predictive insight. Day to day, you'll:
- Shape and deliver our data intelligence strategy, and champion evidence-based decision-making across Advancement
- Partner with senior leaders to find where insight can make the biggest difference to fundraising and engagement
- Oversee predictive models, segmentation, propensity modelling and performance analysis
- Make sure our insight lands, turning analysis into clear, compelling recommendations
- Own our Power BI estate and reporting standards, keeping everything GDPR-compliant
- Lead and grow a talented team with a culture of curiosity and experimentation

Your work will directly influence how we engage donors and alumni, and how much good the campaign can achieve.
About you
You're a data leader who's as comfortable in a boardroom as you are in a data model. We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience leading an analytics, BI or data intelligence function and setting a roadmap for reporting and insight
- A track record of building predictive, segmentation or performance models
- Experience applying analytics to supporter, customer, alumni or member engagement
- The ability to turn complex analysis into recommendations that senior stakeholders act on
- Extensive Power BI experience, plus strong SQL, DAX and Python
- Experience with large CRM datasets and designing data warehouses and analytical models
- A good understanding of GDPR and data protection
- Experience leading and motivating a team
