About Moneybox

At Moneybox, our mission is to give everyone the means to get more out of life. We’re guided by our belief that wealth isn’t about the money, it’s about the means to more: more freedom, opportunities, possibilities, and peace of mind.

Moneybox is an award-winning wealth management platform, helping nearly two million people build wealth throughout their lives, whether they're saving and investing, buying their first home, or planning for retirement.

And now Moneybox is building the means to help more people in more ways - through personal financial advice. We believe that great advice should be available to everyone, at every stage of life, and that technology can help us deliver it with the care, clarity and accountability people deserve.

We're building a new kind of advice service from the ground up, and the people who join us now will help shape how millions of people plan for their future.

About The Role

The Head of Advice leads Moneybox's Financial Adviser team — Senior Financial Advisers and Financial Advisers — acting as 1st line supervisor for the regulated advice team as it scales to support more customers.

You’ll recruit and inspire a team of advisers to deliver a great service to Moneybox customers, responsible for building the right culture and service standards that deliver fantastic customer outcomes. Supporting advisers as they develop from being initially qualified to becoming experienced professionals.

You'll own adviser sign-off, competence and quality standards for the team, working as a Certified Individual under SM&CR: signing off your own advice cases and signing off Financial Adviser and Senior Financial Adviser cases ahead of their own Competent Adviser Status.

This role sits above the Senior Financial Advisers, who manage day-to-day Adviser teams; you take on the Service Quality, Conversion Oversight, T&C, QA and governance layer that lets the advice service scale safely and consistently.

You will report directly to the Director of Advice, working closely with the Head of Proposition and the Senior Coaching & Advice Service Manager across the wider Advice leadership team.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead and oversee the Financial Adviser population end-to-end — from day-to-day people leadership and T&C, through to service quality, customer conversion, case quality and governance, to the team's growth as Moneybox's advice service scales.

Team leadership & competence

  • Line manage the Senior Financial Adviser and Financial Adviser population, overseeing performance, development and career progression.
  • Build and own the T&C scheme for the Adviser team — case sign-off standards, competence records and House Rules — with the Director of Advice holding overall T&C oversight.
  • Act as 1st line supervisor: sign off Financial Adviser and Senior Financial Adviser cases ahead of Competent Adviser Status (CAS), and sign off your own advice cases as a Certified Individual once CAS is achieved.
  • Manage performance against KPIs, coaching individuals and the team as a whole to consistently strong, compliant outcomes.

Quality, sign-off & governance

  • Own QA and case-review standards across the Adviser team, feeding findings into House Rules, training and the wider T&C scheme.
  • Act as senior escalation point for the most complex or sensitive customer cases.
  • Represent the Adviser team in governance forums and contribute to advice strategy, working closely with the Head of Proposition and the Senior Coaching & Advice Service Manager.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
